The development studio behind the popular MMORPG game Guild Wars 2 has announced it will be hosting a special event in August. It is expected the studio will reveal new Living World content for the game.
According to a recent announcement, the "Special Live Event" will be hosted on August 30, 2019, during the PAX West game convention in Seattle. During the event, players get a first look at an all-new chapter in Guild Wars 2's Living World story.

The event takes place in the Moore Theatre in Seattle, WA, on August 30, 2019, at 9 AM PDT. The event will run for approximately 45 minutes. Those who can't attend the event will be able to tune in to a livestream.
An image used in the announcement e-mail suggests players will be traveling to cold, snowy environments, indicating that the next chapter could be taking players north of the Shiverpeaks.
