Guild Wars 2 expansion End of Dragons gets new trailer, releases later this month

Development studio ArenaNet has released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming Guild Wars 2 expansion pack End of Dragons. The expansion releases later this month.

In End of Dragons, players will return to the continent of Cantha to re-explore iconic Guild Wars Factions locations, including Shing Jea Island, Echovald Forest and the Jade Sea.

Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons will be the third expansion for MMORPG Guild Wars 2. The region was featured in the 2006 expansion Guild Wars Factions for the original game. Long-term fans of the franchise have requested a return to Cantha ever since Guild Wars 2 released in 2012.

The new expansion pack will feature a new, modernized, rendition of the region: The Jade Sea has turned green and the Jade Wind has petrified buildings and statues. Tengu, Kurzick and Luxon all make a return as they face new challenges in the expansion's campaign.

Aside from the campaign and the new explorable continent, the expansion brings several new features to the game: the Siege Turtle multiplayer mount, Skiffs boat-mounts, Fishing mastery, new elite specializations, new guild halls and new large scale events.

Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons is scheduled to release on Monday, February 28, 2022, for PC and Mac.
