EA Dice has confirmed that the Battlefield 1 open beta will run until Thursday September 8th. The beta of the game was available to play since August 31st.
Players who have played the open beta will not have their progress transfered when the game launches. This means that players who purchase the game will be back to rank 1 on launch day.
Players who reach rank 15 and play for atleast 4 different days during the open beta will unlock a special Battlefield 1 Beta Dog tag when the game launches.
The open beta of Battlefield 1 was plagued by issues. Most notable were the malfunctioning of the key generation system that was used to issue keys to Battlefield Insiders, the hours of downtime on the second day of the open beta and the release of the first Battlefield 1 multiplayer hacks.
Battlefield 1 launches on October 21st for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
