Rockstar Games' L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files may be making its way to the PlayStation 4 later this week. The virtual reality edition of the game is currently a PC exclusive.
L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files is a re-imagined version made specifically for the HTC Vive. The game features seven select cases from the original game retrofitted to work with the virtual reality headset.
The game may be making its way to the PlayStation 4 later this week. On social media screenshots of a PEGI rating agency database entry are circulating that indicate that the game will be available for the console soon.
However, the release date listed on this rating database entry was August 12, 2019. Now, a day later, a PlayStation 4 edition still has not been announced. Whether this means the entry displayed an invalid date or whether the rumor is false is still unknown.
On the PC, the game received mixed user reviews on Steam because of Rockstar Games Social Club DRM launcher and key activation issues, game crashes and glitches, and various other gameplay issues.
