The first details of the second expansion pack for the popular MMORPG game Guild Wars 2 may have leaked online. Images and details of the second expansion pack were posted on Reddit earlier today.

The screenshots show the maps that will be added to the game with the release of the second expansion pack as well as several new features that will be introduced.

If the screenshots are legit, the second expansion for the game will take players to parts of the Crystal Desert and Elona where they will explore at least five new maps: Crystal Highlands, Elon Riverlands, Oasis, The Desolation, Domain of Vabbi as well as the new guild hall Windswept Haven.

The expansion also introduces mounts to the game. The new feature allows players to ride a variety of different creatures. Just like gliders from the game's first expansion pack Heart of Thorns, additional mounts are expected to be available through the game's in-game gem store.

The gliders from the first expansion pack were eventually added to existing zones months after the expansion pack's release. Whether mounts will also be available outside of the new maps is currently unknown, but is not not likely to be the case.

The second expansion pack also seems to introduction a new set of elite class specializations for all of the current classes. The new elite specializations are Deadeye, Firebrand, Mirage, Spellbreaker, Scourge, Holosmith, Soulbeast and Renegade.

The last major details shown in the screenshots are descriptions of new masteries that seem to be related to the new mounts feature as they can be used to unlock additional skills while mounted on a creature.

The development studio behind the game, ArenaNet, has not yet commented on the recent leak.
