Battle Royale game PUBG now has 400 million registered players on all platforms

The popular Battle Royale shooter game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds now has over 400 million registered players, development studio Bluehole announced.

The new figure is said to include all platforms and all versions of the game, including the recently released free mobile version.

In terms of paid players the game sees 50 million copies sold on PC and Xbox One. Out of the 400 million, roughly 87 million players are said to play daily.

The development studio is currently working on a new snow map for the game that is scheduled to release this winter.
