ArenaNet has released the warclaw mount update for its Guild Wars 2 World versus World game mode earlier this week. The mount can be unlocked by completing a collection.

The Warclaw mount has to be unlocked with World versus World ability points. A week-long bonus event is currently available to give players faster access. The mount is also available in PvE after unlocking it in WvW.

The mount gives players three new abilities: Battle Maul, Sniff and Chain Pull. In other game modes only the Battle Maul skill is available. In addition, the mount features a leap movement ability. This ability is limited to a total of three endurance bars.

The launch of the mount wasn't without its issues. In the first 24 hours after its release some players were unable to unlock it because of an achievement bug. This has since been resolved. Another update has nerfed the mount's Battle Maul skill to limit the number of targets to three and to reduce its damage.
