Development studio Bluehole has reannounced its commitment to deliver bugfixes and quality-of-life improvements for the popular Battle Royale shooter game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

In the recent announcement, the studio states it "hasn't always been able to meet expectations." and acknowledges that the game still has many unresolved issues.

The studio states it will now focus on fixing these issues and adding quality-of-life improvements as part of a so-called "Fix PUBG" campaign.

In addition, the studio has also once again stated that it will also focus on performance issues to ensure the game runs at the expected frame rates without stuttering.

The studio has already released the first patch that is part of the campaign. The patch is already available on live servers and contains a bunch of fixes and improvements.

Noteworthy changes in this patch are the introduction of a sharpening graphics setting, colorblind mode support, frame rate cap settings, reduced vehicle sounds, and a new iteration of limb penetration.

The entire list of the "Fix PUBG" campaign is available on a separate mini website that details what the studio is planning to iterate on, including frame rate hitching, level streaming, desyncing, anti-cheat, matchmaking and user interfaces.

All of the changes that are going live on the PC version of the game will also be making their way to the Xbox One version at a later date.
