In a new interview published by british magazine Daily Star Hello Games founder Sean Murray has stated that No Man's Sky may get paid downloadable content in the future.
The comments from Murray are at odds with earlier statements when the Hello Games founder confirmed that No Man's Sky would not get paid downloadable content. "Maybe in the future there's some reason why we just couldn't possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it" Murray commented in the interview.
Earlier this week Murray stated that No Man's Sky would get free content updates via patches, whilst ruling out that the game would receive paid downloadable content in the future at the same time.
While the free content updates are still in the pipelines, there may be a paid expansion for the game in the future.
