HTC has officially announced the new edition of its virtual reality headset: the HTC Vive Pro. The company has also confirmed it will be releasing a wireless adapter.
The new announcement confirms yesterday's rumors. The new HTC Vive Pro virtual reality headset will feature two OLED displays that are capable of displaying 2880 x 1600 pixels images spread over both eyes.
This means that both sides of the headset will feature a 1440 x 1600 pixels panel at 615 ppi. The higher resolutions are expected to reduce the screendoor effect.
