Rockstar Games is reportedly working on a new project that is said to be revealed soon. Sources close to the British branch of Rockstar Games, also known as Rockstar North, have confirmed this to our editorial staff independently. Ever since the PC release of Grand Theft Auto V back in April of 2015 the developer has been relatively quiet.
Take Two's latest earnings call also seems to confirm the rumour stating that " [..] Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.". What this new project entails still remains under wraps though it is possible that the developer will unveil the project at E3 2016 in June.
Back in April a possible leak of a map sparked rumours of a sequel to Red Dead Redemption, the western action-adventure game that released back in 2010. The game was critically acclaimed due to its western setting combined with storytelling and multiplayer capabilities. Although heavily rumoured a PC version of the game never saw the light of day.
Last week Rockstar Games announced a new "Combat Week" update for Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V, bringing discounts on weapons and vehicles as well as double GTA$, the game's virtual currency, and RP points during gameplay.
