The PC version of No Man's Sky may have been delayed by 3 days. The game's official website now lists August 12th as the release date for the PC version.
The Playstation 4 and PC version were both scheduled to launch on August 10th but earlier this week the game's website started listing a different release date for the PC version. The PC version of the game will be distributed through digital services such as GOG, which allows users to buy games without DRM, Steam and HumbleBundle.
Hello Games has not yet officially responded on the game's changed release date. The Playstation 4 release date has not been changed and will still be available starting August 10th.
In No Man's Sky players explore a procedurally generated deterministic open universe containing over 18 quintillion planets. The developer recently revealed that the game will take up 6 GB of disk space. The first launch update for the game is already in the works.
No Man's Sky is set to release August 9th in the US and August 10th in Europe for Playstation 4 and August 12th for PC worldwide.
