An upcoming update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds that will release later today for the PC will introduce changes to the game's Miramar desert map. It is the first time the map receives updates.
According to a recent announcement, the fourth 1.0 PC update will feature several major changes to the game's latest map Miramar.
When the new update launches Miramar will feature more buildings and cover across the map. This change is said to "improve the engagement experience".
In addition, the map will contain new off-road routes for easier vehicle navigation and improved item spawn levels of certain areas.
The update also contains several smaller changes, including bugfixes for the game's replay system, checks to prevent players from using health and booster items underwater, and fixes to avoid players getting stuck on the map.
