Guild Wars 2 Living World "War Eternal" episode to release on May 14, new trailer released

Development studio ArenaNet has announced that the next episode of Guild Wars 2's Living World season will release on May 14, 2019. The episode is titled War Eternal.

The next episode is the final episode of the fourth Living World season. The episode is expected to follow up the events of episode five and lead into the next season.

The new trailer indicates that players will be able to further explore the area surrounding the corpse of Aurene while a plan is devised to continue the assault on Kralkatorrik. The new map is said to shed light on the very existence of the Elder Dragon.

In War Eternal, players will be able to unlock the new mount Skyscale. It is the second flying mount following up the Griffon that was unlockable after completing the game's second expansion pack Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire.

In addition, players can start working towards acquiring the new legendary greatsword Exordium and the new Mist Shard armor set.

It is the first episode after the studio's corporate restructuring when it was forced to layoff 143 of its 400 employees.

Guild Wars 2 Living World season 4 episode 6 "War Eternal" releases on May 14, 2019.
