The next game in the Just Cause franchise may be titled Just Cause 4 and may be revealed soon. Advertisements for the game were reportedly briefly available on the Steam Store.
Just Cause 4 has yet to be officially announced and it is unknown if franchise studio Avalanche Studio will be working on it. The studio is currently working with Bethesda to develop the shooter game Rage 2.

Earlier this week Avalanche Studio was acquired by the Danish entertainment company Nordisk Film. According to a recent press release, the studio's strategy will "remain unaltered".
Avalanche Studio has also revealed its upcoming shooter game Generation Zero earlier today.
