Bethesda has announced its upcoming first-person shooter game Rage 2. The game is the sequel to the original title.

In Rage 2, players dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. Players are said to be able to go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

Players play as Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland. Robbed of your home and left for dead, you'll tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling bloodthirsty gangs to find the tools and tech needed to take the fight to The Authority and crush their oppressive rule once and for all.

The game brings together the two development studios Avalanche Studios and id Software as both are currently working on the title.

Rage 2 is expected to release in 2019 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
