343 Industries has released a new cinematic trailer for Halo Wars 2. The trailer was first shown at RTX 2016, a gaming convention in Austin, Texas, USA.
Just like the first game Halo Wars 2 is a real-time strategy game. Players can choose between two playable factions: humanity's main military arm, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), who return from the first game, and a new faction called The Banished, who serve as replacement for the Covenant.
The game features a number of multiplayer modes that can be played online with up to six players, including skirmish and deathmatch. Halo Wars 2 is currently being developed by both 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, the developer of Total War.
The game is scheduled to release on February 21st 2017 for PC and Xbox One and is part of Microsoft's Play Anywhere program.
