Microsoft has announced that it will launch its Play Anywhere program on September 13th. The program allows gamers to unlock both the Xbox One version as well as the PC version of certain games that are part of Play Anywhere with just one purchase.

Play Anywhere will require a PC running Windows 10 that is updated with the Anniversary update. The update is scheduled to launch on August 2nd. Additionally, Xbox One users will be required to update their Xbox One with the upcoming summer update.
