Ubisoft has announced that the closed beta for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands will start next week. The closed beta will be available on all platforms.
The closed beta test will start on February 3rd 2017 and will end on February 5th 2017. The closed beta version of the game will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Players who signed up for the beta events will be randomly selected to participate in next week's beta test. Those selected will have received a beta key via e-mail that can be redeemed on a special beta page.
According to previous statements, Ubisoft will be scheduling more beta tests in the future, so it is likely that the game developer will be inviting more players as the game gets closer to its release date.
The new game is the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise and will be the first Ghost Recon game to feature an open world environment.
The game will move away from the futuristic setting introduced in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and will instead feature a setting similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. According to Ubisoft the game will be one of the biggest open world games that the company has ever published.
Yesterday the development studio also released a 20 minute gameplay video that shows part of a singleplayer campaign walkthrough with 3 AI teammates.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands launches March 7th 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
