Ubisoft has announced the first open beta test for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The beta test will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The open beta test for the game is scheduled to start on February 23rd 2017 and will run until February 27th 2017. Preloading for the open beta test will start on February 21st 2017.

The new beta test is the first open beta test for the game and likely also the last because the game is scheduled to launch not much later on March 3rd 2017 for all platforms.

The new game is the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise and will be the first Ghost Recon game to feature an open world environment.

The game will move away from the futuristic setting introduced in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and will instead feature a setting similar to the original Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. According to Ubisoft the game will be one of the biggest open world games that the company has ever published.
