Indie development studio New World Interactive has released a new Insurgency: Sandstorm video that focuses on soundstaging. The game's first beta test starts later today.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is said to be "designed to retain what made Insurgency great, and build upon it." The previous game was based on the popular Source engine modification Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat that released in 2008.

Insurgency: Sandstorm will release in September 2018 for PC and in 2019 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
