Nintendo has added a listing to the Google Play Store for Super Mario Run. The listing allows players to register to receive a notification when the game is available for Android.
Super Mario Run launched earlier this month for iOS devices, but received mixed reviews in the first week of being available. When Nintendo first announced the game it already confirmed that the game would eventually be released for Android devices.
Just like the iOS version of the game the Android version will also contain a function that checks if the device has a working internet connection. In the description of the Android version Nintendo warns users that the game requires the connection to be able to play.
Nintendo has not yet announced a release date for the Android version of Super Mario Run, but it is likely that the company will release the game in January 2017.
