Development studio Bluehole has announced it has plans to rebalance PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' blue zone. The zone forces players to move to a certain area of the explorable terrain.
According to a recent blog post, the studio is planning to enhance the combat experience in a match. The first part of this plan is to adjust the blue zone to make matches more even and less chaotic.
The studio has already tested a tweaked version of its current blue zone implementation on the game's test server last weekend to gather feedback.
With the new changes the waiting times and shrinking speed of blue zones in the middle and ending of a match will decrease while the damage per second in the last blue zone will slightly increase.
Whether the changes will be implemented on live servers remains to be seen.
