A new update for the battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has added the Moonlight weather setting to the game. The weather setting brings night mode to the game's latest map Vikendi.
According to the announcement, the new update introduces the long-awaited Moonlight weather setting to the game. The weather setting is currently only available on the Vikendi snow map.

Although the weather setting makes environments darker, the big glowing super moon and bright aurora borealis effect is said to help players detect enemies.
In addition to the new weather setting, the update also introduces the new Canted Sight weapon attachment to allow players to utilize a secondary scope slot on certain weapons, and the new vehicle snowbike, which replaces the motorcycle on Vikendi.
The update is available on the game's PC test servers and will make its way to live servers early next week.
