Development studio Bethesda is working on the next entry in the Wolfenstein franchise. The game is expected to be the sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
The development of the game was confirmed in an interview with Bethesda VP Pete Hines with Metro. However, exact details were not given.
The studio is currently also working on Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which expected to be a spin-off title taking place in 1980, 19 years after BJ Blazkowicz ignited the second American Revolution in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
Youngblood will introduce Blazkowicz' next generation to fight against the Nazis. Players will play as one of BJ's twin daughters, Jess and Soph, as they search for their missing father in Nazi-occupied Paris.
The studio will focus on delivering Wolfenstein: Youngblood first and Wolfenstein III after its release. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is expected to release next year.
