Bethesda has announced that it has delayed mod support for the Playstation 4 version of Fallout 4. Mod support has been available for the PC version of the game since its release.
Although the developer has not given a specific reason for the delay, early tests indicate that mod support for the Playstation 4 version of the game was limited to a mere 900MB storage space. Fallout 4 on the PC has unlimited mod storage space and the Xbox One version is limited to 2GB.
In May Fallout 4 mod support officially came to consoles when the Xbox One version of the game received the update. A month before that Bethesda opened a website that allowed users to submit Fallout 4 PC mods, many of which do not work on the console versions of the game.
