Bethesda has announced the release dates for the virtual reality editions of Doom, Fallout 4 and Skyrim. The virtual reality editions will be sold as separate titles.
The virtual reality editions were announced at E3 2017 earlier this year. The virtual reality features will not be making its way to the original games as updates, but will instead be sold separately.
The virtual reality editions are likely sold separately because they feature gameplay that is too different from the original game.
Skyrim VR on November 17, 2017 for PlayStation VR followed by Doom VFR on December 1, 2017, for HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Fallout 4 will release on December 12, 2017, for HTC Vive and PlayStation VR.
