The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it is working on an update for the Xbox One X and PlayStaiton 4 Pro consoles. The update is expected to make full use of the new hardware.
Microsoft teased the update during its E3 2017 press conference earlier today, stating that the update would feature support for the Xbox One X console. It is expected that the update will allow the game to run at 4K native resolution at 60 frames per second on the Xbox One X.

The game development studio has also confirmed that it is working on a PlayStation 4 Pro update. Whether that update will bring 4K native resolution rendering to the PlayStation 4 version of the game is still unknown.
CD Projekt Red wasn't able to provide us with a release date for the update just yet, but did state that it expects more information to be available soon.
