PUBG Corp. has announced that battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' Erangel map will be getting a major visual overhaul. It is the first time that the map has seen such a significant change since the game was announced.
The update is being worked on because the development studio wants to bring the map to the same level of polish as their more recent additions.
When the new version of Erangel releases, players will see new building styles, more realistic scenery and terrain, and some new and changed areas within the map.
These map changes will be rolled out on the game's test server first, allowing players to get in, test map stability, check out all the updates, and provide their feedback before this hits live servers later this summer.
The PC test server will be available between June 6, 2019, and June 11, 2019. The availability countdowns can be found on our events calendar.

This comment has been removed. At a cost of 20 fps probably, PUBG is dead.
