The snow map Vikendi for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is now available on live servers. The map made its way to the game's Test Server two weeks ago.
The new snow map will bring new tactical gameplay to the game. Players who maneuver through the snow will leave temporary marks that allows enemies to hunt them down. Vehicles will be more slippery in snow or icy areas with acceleration being slower.

In addition, the new update also features the new G36C submachine gun and a new snowmobile vehicle.
The new map is said to feature gameplay that is quicker than Erangel and Miramar, but offers an arguably more tactical experience than Sanhok.
