Sony has released a new video in which Lead System Architect Mark Cerny discusses the creation of the new PlayStation 4 Pro console. The device was announced yesterday.

According to Sony the console will bring hours of 4K high definition content to gamers worldwide. The console boasts 4K resolution gaming, HDR graphics, support for HDTVs and PlayStation VR.

PlayStation 4 Pro will feature an updated GPU, boosted processor clock rates and a larger harddisk.

PlayStation 4 games will work on both versions of the console but game developers will only be able to make use of the updated console hardware when players play their games on PlayStation 4 Pro.

The new PlayStation 4 Pro will be available in most markets starting November 10th for $399 or €399.
