Nintendo has released a new trailer for its upcoming title Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The game releases tomorrow.

As a member of the Galaxy Expedition Team, you can study Pokémon to complete the Hisui region's first Pokédex. Find newly discovered Pokémon, embark on survey missions, explore natural expanses, and uncover the mystery surrounding the Mythical Pokémon, Arceus.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon live freely in all kinds of places: in grassy fields, in forests, or out on the water. There may be certain Pokémon behaviors, or even entire species, that can only be witnessed under the right conditions, such as during a particular time of day or in certain kinds of weather.

Players will be able to explore expansive environments to study the Pokémon that live in it. The game's art style and environments are similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, although Nintendo never makes this comparison in any of the game's marketing.

Pokémon battles work differently in Arceus: stats and other factors will now determine how many actions each Pokémon can take and in what order. This means that the gameplay is a twist on the original turn-based Pokémon battles from classic titles where the player was limited to one action per round.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is scheduled to release on Friday, January 28, 2022, for Nintendo Switch.
