An interesting piece of news caught our eye this early morning when one of our readers, BenBuja, sent us the above screencap showcasing the Games for Windows Live logo next to the Red Dead Redemption logo on Rockstar's Multiplayer event page.Rockstar has launched a redesign of the Social Club feature a while back so perhaps the above screencap is a result of some poor programming, or maybe, just maybe, Red Dead Redemption is finally making its way to the PC, after all those years.What it most likely boils down to is poor programming, Rockstar seems to have moved away from the Games for Windows Live platform a while back with Grand Theft Auto 4 being the last title using it, Max Payne 3 used a new matchmaking system -- or just maybe..Update It seems Rockstar Games has now removed the Games for Windows Live logo and has replaced it with an Xbox live logo, intrigue. Sony has announced this week that Playstation Plus members will be able to play Red Dead Redemption for free starting September 2012. The game is game of the month of September on Playstation Plus en can therefore be downloaded and played for free by Playstation Plus members. No word on an actual release date yet though word has it it will be available in the first half of September.

Red Dead Redemption fans rejoice as there is rumour of triple XP being turned on for the game tomorrow for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Rockstar Games has just announced Red Dead Redemption: Game of the year edition for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Rockstar Games has just released a new title update for Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The new title update fixed a host of bugs and fixes a few exploits, though it seems that some Playstation 3 users are reporting problems that have occured after the title update.The title update is believed to cause crashes on Playstation 3 systems, though it has not yet been confirmed that the title update is indeed the cause of it. Today Rockstar Games has announced that the previously announced FREE Red Dead Redemption Myths & Mavericks Bonus Pack will be available for download to everyone on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE in less than two weeks, September 13th 2011. This completely free Bonus Pack DLC is supposed to be a token of appreciation for all the amazing Red Dead fans out there especially those who are keeping online multiplayer as busy and as fun as ever. Myths and Mavericks will include a whole bunch of new fan-favorite multiplayer characters from the single-player story, as well as new multiplayer locations including Cochinay, Nekoti Rock and Beecher's Hope, plus new Stronghold games in Armadillo, Tumbleweed, and Chuparosa. Back in July Rockstar Games confirmed another DLC package for Red Dead Redemption called 'Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack'. Today Rockstar Games announces that a releasedate will be announced soon.
