Sony has revealed the 20 games that will be available on their upcoming "plug and play" console PlayStation Classic, some of which players will recognize.
Titles like Metal Gear Solid, Rayman, and Grand Theft Auto will certainly have a mainstream pull but there is much to play in terms of different genres as well.
So what's in the box? The console itself with preloaded games listed below, two PlayStation 1 style controllers, an HDMI cable, a USB cable, and a trusty manual all inside of PlayStation 1 style packaging.
Retailers have already started taking pre-orders for the console, including Best Buy, Walmart (sold out), Target, Gamestop and Amazon (sold out).
The PlayStation Classic garnered wide criticism for its current $99.99 US / £89.99 price tag. With the games now revealed it seems there is a vigor amongst consumers to pre-order the PlayStation 4's jumping baby brother, if the list of currently sold out retailers are any indication.
The PlayStation Classic is scheduled to release on December 3, 2018, which is the 24th anniversary of PlayStation.
