The Guild Wars 2 Hall of Monuments Reward Calculator that can be used to check Guild Wars 2 rewards for players who played the original Guild Wars has finally come out of beta.
The tool was already available since the game's launch in 2012 but has been in beta ever since. Gamers who have played the original Guild Wars and its expansion pack Guild Wars: Eye of the North received bonus content in the form of unique weapons, armor, minipets and titles if they linked their original account to their Guild Wars 2 account.
Despite coming out of beta, the tool still has several issues that sometimes cause players to see an inaccurate list of rewards, listing less rewards than they have actually earned.
ArenaNet did not comment on why it took the development studio four years to get the tool out of betatesting, but it is likely that it didn't want to waste additional resources on a tool that was only used by a small percentage of the game's community.
Over the past few years the game's reward system has been subject to several bugs that caused players to receive rewards they weren't supposed to have, including the popular God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals title, and even caused some players to be locked out of their genuinely earned rewards temporarily.
