The Battle Royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will be getting an update that rebalances weapons, development studio Bluehole announced. The level three helmet will also be removed from loot tables.

The new update that will be available on test servers soon will rebalance weapons in such a way that ensures players will choose them based on their personal preference instead of picking the one with the highest damage output.

The studio also noted it will be looking into weapon attachments to make sure players get a "wider array of attachment options" so they can pick what fits best in the combat situation instead of using the best attachment only.

In addition, the new update will remove the level three helmet from general loot tables and adds it to care packages only. The studio states it found that the helmet affected the results of matches too often and this change would make it so that getting the helmet is no longer a question of pure luck.

The changes will be hitting the game's test servers first and will eventually make their way to live servers.

This comment has been removed. That's the only thing they can do is adjust numbers since 90% of the content is non editable third party content or what. Most guns had OK balance prior 2nd map release, so basically they're just going to revert it back to normal or mess it up even more.
