Microsoft has announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be making its way to the PC. The collection will be available via Steam and Microsoft Store.

The collection of Halo games released for Xbox One in 2014 and will now also be making its way to the PC. New in this release is the addition of Halo: Reach.

Microsoft will be releasing The Master Chief Collection in parts, with Halo Reach being the first in the series to be available. Other franchise entries will be released later in chronological order. Publication dates or prices were not disclosed.

The collection also contains Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4. Each game can be purchased separately. In addition to the story missions, multiplayer will also be available. Previously, only the first two Halo games were available on PC.

The games were already rumored to be making its way to the PC in 2017 when Halo artwork showed up during an AMD Ryzen event.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC does not yet have a release date.
