AMD may have accidentally leaked the announcement of a PC version of Halo 3. Artwork for the game was briefly visible during the launch event for AMD's Ryzen 5 processor.

The launch event for the AMD Ryzen 5 processor was held in South Korea and featured artwork of several games, including Overwatch, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Halo 3.

It may be possible that the game will get the same anniversary treatment as the previous two Halo titles. Both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 received remastered editions and were both included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Halo 3 originally launched on September 25th 2007 for Xbox 360 and was also released for the Xbox One via Halo: The Master Chief Collection on November 11th 2014.
