The development team behind the popular Half-Life remake, Black Mesa, has posted a new update on Xen. The missing chapters are the final piece of the story that is still missing in the remake.
According to a recent announcement, the development team has made significant progress since it showcased Xen levels back in July and December. All Xen levels are said to be playable from start to finish with the exception of a few minor issues.
The team notes the levels have received multiple iterations to make sure they offer the fun and challenge that the fans of the game expect.
A release date for the Xen chapters was still not given, but it is likely that the team will announce more details in the months to come.
Once the missing Xen chapters are added Black Mesa is expected to make its way out of Early Access after more than a decade of development.
