PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man gets September 7th release date, new trailer released

The upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive action adventure game Spider-Man will release on September 7, 2018, development studio Insomniac has announced.

The game will tell a completely new Spider-Man story and is not tied to a film or comic book.

The game will cover both the Peter Parker and Spider-Man aspects of the character and will feature a more experienced version of Spider-Man.

Players will be able to explore an open world modern-day New York City and have full access to Spider-Man's abilities, such as web slinging and wall crawling.

Spider-Man releases on September 7, 2018, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
