Psyonix has announced Season 7 of Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). The new season adds South America as an official RLCS region.
Just like last year, players will be able to team up and take on some of the best teams in the world to qualify for the Rocket League Rival Series. This year's open qualifiers will follow the same format, allowing your team to enter up to two qualifiers.
Following the completion of all four qualifiers, the remaining "Top 128" teams will move on to the Play-In phase where they will battle to fill the final four Rival Series spots in both North America and Europe.
The sign-ups for RLCS 7 qualifiers are now open until March 1, 2019. The qualifiers will start on March 2, 2019, and League Play begins on April 6, 2019.
Earlier this month an update for the game enabled cross-platform matchmaking on all platforms. The cross-platform party update will release in February.
