Indie development studio Bulkhead Interactive has released its WWII shooter game Battalion 1944 on Steam Early Access. The game has received mixed user reviews because of a variety issues.
Battalion 1944 is said to bring back the classic World War II multiplayer shooter experience by delivering gameplay that resembles that of classic Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games.
Now that the game is available via Steam Early Access players have had a chance to try out the game and give feedback. Thus far the game has received mixed user reviews in which players complain about various issues.
Some of the issues listed are unstable frame rates, game crashes, not being able to connect to servers by either using matchmaking or by using the game's server browser, a limited player count of 10 per match, fully functioning lootbox systems prior to getting stable multiplayer, no anti-cheat systems, lack of content and muting "critical" players on the game's Discord server.
Battalion 1944 is now available on Steam Early Access for $13.49 US in North America and €13.49 in Europe.
