A new upcoming update for the indie shooter game Battalion 1944 will increase the XP players earn when playing Wartide and casual game modes.
According to the announcement, the update will change the "XP model" for Wartide so that it is four times higher than it was originally. A win on Wartide netted players 500 XP before and now totals at 2000 XP. A lose in this mode now rewards players with 1750 XP.
BattleRank season five has increased the maximum level from 50 to 100 and with that come extra unlockable skins. However, progressing through the season now takes significantly more time. The new changes are said to make it easier for players to earn skins and get a better feeling of progression.
Casual gameplay on Arcade and Headquarters will also see an XP increase: Daily Challenges will reward 500 XP and Quick Fire Challenges will reward 250 XP.
Battalion 1944 released on May 23, 2019, for PC.
