Battle Royale game Fear The Wolves releases on Steam Early Access

The Battle Royale game Fear The Wolves is now available via Steam Early Access. The game's price tag was revealed earlier today.

During its early access development phase players will be able to purchase the title for $19.99 US in North America and €19.99 in Europe.

The game will drop players in a Chernobyl-style radioactive wasteland. Deadly mutated wildlife, the organic spread of radiation, unexplainable anomalies, and 99 other players stand in their way on their march to the extraction helicopter inside the final zone.

Players will have to defend themselves with an arsenal of scavenged weaponry, including fire-axes, machine guns and more.

Unlike other Battle Royale games, the end game focuses on a single player being extracted by a helicopter. However, killing all players will also lead to victory. The location of the extraction zone will vary game to game, forcing adaptation and rewarding intricate map knowledge.

Fear The Wolves is now available for PC via Steam Early Access. It will also be making its way to consoles next year.
