Development studio ArenaNet has released a patch for its original Guild Wars game that released in 2005. The patch features several minor graphical enhancements.
The patch that was released last Wednesday, May 9, 2018, gives players access to a new "advanced" graphics option that improves draw distance of objects and terrain and enables improved bloom effects.

In addition, the patch also includes various other minor tweaks, such as improved whisper chat blocking functionality, improved chat reporting functionality, custom chat filters and doubled friends list and ignore list size.
The patch is now available and will be downloaded automatically once players start the game.
