EA Dice has announced that it will rebrand its Rented Server Program for Battlefield V. The program will be rebranded as Private Games and will give players basic multiplayer match creating capabilities for free.
According to a recent announcement, the Rented Server Program will be replaced by Private Games after the summer. The new scheme will allow players to create multiplayer matches without requiring them to rent servers for a ridiculously high fee.
However, the studio has carefully worded the announcement to indicate that the free version of the scheme will only give players basic configuration capabilities. Those who wish to make use of unannounced advanced configuration options likely still have to pay to create that match.
