Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono has stated that the company plans to support the arcade fighting game Street Fighter V until at least 2020. The company is already planning to release new content.
In a recent interview with a Japanese gaming website Ono states that the game developer has plans to support the game with new content until at least 2020.
The first season of extra content has already been released, but according to Ono that content will certainly not be the last content for the game.
Alongside the content updates Capcom hopes to turn the fighting game into an e-sports title, though the company did not state how it wants to achieve that goal.
Street Fighter V launched on February 15th 2016 for PC and PlayStation 4.
