Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter World. The expansion releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in September.

The story of Iceborne starts after the conclusion of the events tied to the end of Monster Hunter World with the Elder Crossing phenomena, as the Research Commission begins to notice very unusual Legiana behavior in the New World.

The new expansion will introduce new monsters, a new storyline, new gameplay features and a new environment to explore: Hoarfrost Reach. It is a land of extreme conditions where the cold is so intense you will need to outfit yourself with specific gear and items to keep warm during your hunts.

Those who already own the base game can purchase Iceborn digitally and those who do not own either can purchase the bundle Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6, 2019, and for PC this winter.
