New details about Battlefield V's upcoming battle royale mode Firestorm have appeared on Reddit earlier this week. The details were recovered from existing client data files.
The Battlefield V battle royale Firestorm mode will contain at least three variants: solo, duo and squad play with a maximum of 64 players per match. Players may be able to choose from the existing classes.
The mode also makes use of an LFG system to fill parties to their maximum capacity and a separate ranking system is also said to be included.
The map that players will play on has still not been officially revealed, but data files suggest the map is set in Norway and players will drop down with parachutes, similar to many other battle royale games.
Last but not least, players will also be able to use various vehicles, including Sports Car, Schwimmwagon, Pick Up Truck, Tractor and Helicopter.
The Firemode battle royale mode is expected to be revealed later this month.
