Rockstar Games has once again renewed its trademark for the video game Agent. The game was first announced almost 10 years ago at E3 2007.

The game was supposed to be a Playstation 3 exclusive title though gameplay footage was never publicly shown.

The trademark update is listed on the USPTO website, the organisation is responsible for patent and trademark registration in the United States.

The game was announced as being a stealth action game, was set in the the Cold War and would take players into "the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations", a 2007 press release reads.

Rockstar has yet to reveal further details regarding the setting other than that it will be set in the late 1970s.

Whether the trademark extension is any indication that the developer is still working on the game remains to be seen as the trademark has been renewed every year since 2013.
